I want to Hear From You! Send Us A Text!
Hello Fam,
In this episode, the host discusses the hiatus before their 10th episode celebration, marked by the opening of a Pride Month cupcake. The show covers a vast range of topics, including Donald Trump’s recent conviction on 34 counts of business fraud, the perceived bias in the justice system as argued by Republicans, and a critical look at the dismissal of a Florida sheriff deputy for the fatal shooting of a Black airman. The episode also introduces new segments such as 'Am I the Asshole?', focusing on relationship issues, and discusses a controversial performance by Northwest at the Lion King's 30th anniversary. The host wraps up with final thoughts on producing the podcast while balancing work and encourages listener interaction through a new fan mail feature.

If you were watching it, like, oh my God, why is it taking you so long to open a tape? Cupcake. Don't care about it. But this cupcake. First off it's pride month. Okay. So like, That's amazing. We're going to do a cheer at the end. But this cupcake is to celebrate that this is our 10th. Episode, can you believe that like, Snap. Anyways. This is our 10th episode. Microphone (MAONO AU-AM200) & Camo-3:You're guilty. You're guilty. Everybody's guilty. Whoa. Guilty guilty, guilty. That's what most of us were cheering. When we heard the verdict that Donald Trump was guilty of 30. Four counts. Business fraud because he paid stormy Daniels. The. Sex worker. With the campaign money instead of his own personal money. And then. Did all this stuff to cover it up because he felt that it would ruin his chances of becoming president. I mean, once he said, grab them by the beep. I thought that would probably have to ruin his chances of being present, but it didn't, or when he said that black people, you don't really have any other choice. I thought that would probably want his chances. So, I mean, paying off a sex worker. It's, it's not that big of a deal. So we'll definitely want to talk about that.'cause I know some of you definitely have questions about yes, he still can be present from prison. It would look a little weird at the oval office. Is inside of like D block, but you know, we're, we're living in times where things are just. They're just historic at every single moment. That's just what it is. Hunter Biden went to court today and somewhat publicans have actually been saying that the justice system. Just doesn't favor Republicans, but it favors Democrats. So we'll talk about that. The airmen who was killed in the motel a couple of weeks ago. B sheriff deputy. That shot him. Has now been fired from the Sheriff's office. I normally don't talk about law enforcement on the show related to light things that happen. But. Times are changing. So I will give my 2 cents and move on from that. We have a new segment that I am just introducing in this show. It's more just to get more people to listen. I want to make the show not only about politics, but I also want to make it about relationships. I want to have some fun with it. So then that way it's not like it's not like government class where it's just like, you're just going to sit there at the boring. I also want to add some more fun aspects to it. So we're going to talk about. Northwest is performance on the 30th anniversary of lion king. Now it's been talked about all overtake talk. I told myself I was not going to talk about it, but then I did Lyft a couple days ago. And my passenger had asked me about it and I was like, all right, well now we're definitely going to talk about it. And then because it's pride month, happy pride month to all my queer people out there. Whoop. We are going to also introduce a, another segment that we're going to be doing is called am I the asshole? And this one comes from a 30 year old woman who says, is she an asshole for leaving her husband? Because he just came out as bisexual. So all those amazing topics right here. On the last conversation. Now, if you're just listening to the podcast and you want to skip through to the certain sections I talked about, don't worry. The chapters will be down below for you to select them. Until then. Let's get started.
Microphone (MAONO AU-AM200) & Camo-4:So Donald Trump. A former president of the United States is now. A convicted felon. 34 felony charges. For falsifying business records. Brought the formal presence week long trial to a close. But ushered in a new phase of historic cases now. Let's also mention that when he got convicted, he raised the most money. He has ever raised when it came out. So like, I the more bad shit this guy does, the more funding he gets, which. It astounds me like 34 counts and he's raised so much more money. He's raised more off of this guilty verdict. Then off his sneakers that he came out with or the Bibles that he users that he's selling currently. So it's, it's unique in that type of aspect. But I also think that. And my personal opinion, I would be like, well, then maybe we should go ahead and continue with the other court cases because you know, we're just getting through them and he's making money off of them, but obviously that's not going to happen. Anyways. Let's go into B article of what it says. So it says now in this unique position of being the first. But I'm all United States convicted of a felony. Trump faces the possibility of a prison sentence or probation for his crimes stemming from the hush money payment scheme. He helped facilitate ahead of the 2016 presidential election. Trump who is known for mounting lengthy appeals of court rulings against him. Has said that he will appeal the conviction, which can be done after he's been sentenced. When will his sentence happened? Judge Julian merchant. Has set Trump's sentence for 10:00 AM. July 11th. Judge. Julian could sentence Trump. To probation or up to four years for each count. In state prison with a maximum of 20 years. So something that I don't know if you guys saw the article that came out, but secret service was actually looking at the prison that he would possibly go to, to figure out how they're going to do everything. Because as I said, he is, he may not be president anymore, but he's still like a protectee. So for now, the former presidents will remain out of prison. As he awaits for sentencing. Prosecutors did not ask for time to post any type of bond. He can appeal his conviction, but it's only going to happen after he's been sentenced. Not before. And as we know, appeals will take a while. To happen, especially depending on how many other appeals are working on. Trump has consistently appealed court cases against him in the effort to delay the prosecution. Or eventually land his case before the court that may side with him, the New York case is no different shortly after Trump was convicted. His attorney Todd Blanche's asked judge Julian. For an acquittal for the charges, not with standing the guilty verdict, the charge. Reject to Peapro form or request. During the course of the child Trump's legal team took other steps to preserve its right to appeal. A potential guilty verdict looking at rulings from the judge on testimony and evidence. They're all, but certain to Mount such an appeal in the coming weeks. Can Trump still be elected president? Yes. Our founding fathers didn't. Probably didn't foresee a president being convicted of a crime. Right. Or they probably saw like how Nixon did with, you know, you, he resigned. He was like, ah, before these terminals get to me and let me go ahead and just leave. Right. So university of California, Los Angeles law professor Richard Hanson, one of the country's leading experts in election law has consistently said that nothing the United States current constitution. Bar's a convicted criminal from running for the nation's highest office. He goes on to say that legally, nothing changes with Trump's status as a candidate. The constitution contains only limited qualifications for running for office. One of those is being a beam 35 years old. To a natural born citizen. So that means born here in the country. And at least 14 years as a resident of the United States, that's it? It doesn't save it. You can't be convicted as a felon. You can't have a misdemeanor. None of that. Right. So additionally states cannot disqualify Trump for running due to his efforts to overturn the 20, 20 election due to the Supreme court ruling earlier this year, Henson said, and they cannot add qualifications such as removing. Convicted felon off of the balance. Essentially, there's nothing that can be done. Like Supreme court already made the ruling about the, you know, insurrection. You can't try and add a qualification such as convicted felon. Like it's just not going to work. Will the conviction costs Trump, his right to vote? Though Trump as a Florida resident is subject to the state's. Decorum rules. Disenfranchising certain people with felony convictions, he may ultimately benefit. From how legislature in New York in 2021 made it easier for felons to regain the right to vote. When it comes to Manhattan, guilty verdict, just render Trump's right to vote in Florida. November election will depend on whether he is sentenced to a term in prison. And if he has finished serving that prison sentence by the time of the election. So essentially. If he is sentenced to prison, He can't vote. But it also has to like that prison sentence has to, and by the time of the election, which they're not going to sentence him. So what five months in jail, it would, it would be probably longer than that. It'd be like couple years. But as I said, the judge can also do with probation too. Florida bans, felons from voting until they have completed the full terms of their sentence, including any supervisor released. So that means probation. And until they have paid any associated fines and fees. That latter requirement was the subject of litigation after Florida's GOP led legislature pass legislation that would undermine. A state's constitutional amendment, allowing people with felon. Felony convictions regain the right to vote. Florida's felon voting. prohibitions apply that people without a state convictions as well. However, if a Florida conviction is out of state, Florida differs. To the state's law of how felons can regain the right to vote. So because he was convicted in New York. Florida we'll look to new York's felon voting, right. In New York, thanks to eight. 2020. 2021 law. People with felony conviction regain the right to vote. Once they finish their term of incarceration, even if they are still subject to parole. That means Trump would only be denied to right. To vote in Florida. If he is serving a prison sentence for the Manhattan conviction at the time of the election. It's probably not going to happen. So for all of his other criminal cases, Trump's conviction means little for his three other criminal cases, which will continue to proceed as they were prior to him being found guilty in New York. Trump's federal election subversion criminal case has been on hold since the us Supreme court considers his claim as for presidential immunity. The judge overseeing his classified documents case in Florida has indefinitely postponed the trial and Georgia election interference case is in legal limbo while Trump in. Several of his pull defendants, try to disqualify the Atlanta area prosecutor who brought the charges. We'll all this magically work out for him by November. Possibly, we probably will not see another criminal case score but I don't think anyone's going to try and go through a criminal case with a sitting president. Like it's possible. I don't think it's going to be something that they do.. They're still trying with the Atlanta prosecutor. They tried to get her off the case because they said that she had a personal personal affair with one of the people who was on the team. That didn't work. The judge threw it out. And now they're trying to go through several other different ways of getting her off the case. Supreme court is still considering whether or not he actually has presidential immunity. With, oh, you played that in the last episode with the judges asking. So essentially the president, if it's an official order, So he could essentially take out his political opponent. But he has presidential immunity. So. There's there's all that. None of the bills, three cases will be done or even started by the time November hits. So we got one done. He's a convicted felon. It's done. It's all. Let's move on. I'm tired of talking about Trump now. Next thing we're going to talk about. Is Republicans feel as though the justice system leans heavily toward Democrat and not toward Republicans. Why do they feel that way? You know, most Republicans now feel like everything again is against them. Even though they come out with the most outrageous laws or they try and get rid of DEI, which is diversity, equality and inclusion. But they feel like the justice system is just strongly against them. And it's because of Joe Biden. It's his justice system in.. Let's talk about it.
Microphone (MAONO AU-AM200) & Camo-5:So Republicans are feeling as though. They. Or just being targeted. By the justice system. Like it's just not fair. It's not fair. Trump was convicted those New York jury that. That's honestly what they're doing. They're just being a bunch of crybabies. About something that we knew that was going to happen, like. It's it's a crime, like for some reason, Republicans believe that crimes. If, if a Republican commits a crime. It shouldn't affect them. They should be able to just get away with it. And the only people who should be convicted with crimes are. The Democrats. Wayne. They get, they should get all in the trouble. And Republicans are like, no, yeah, I know he shot this person, but he's a Republican. The court system. It just doesn't like repo. That's not true. Like the justice system works. It doesn't work for black people, but it works. So let's go into this article really quick so we can move on to the. Next one. So last week, president Joe Biden was defending the justice system as a cornerstone of society. He says it's dangerous. It's irresponsible for anyone to save it. This was rape just because they don't like the verdict. Biden said at the white house after Republicans tried to undercut the process that led to former president Donald Trump's conviction in New York. So this week. The president will have to remember those words while his son hunter Biden faces federal gun charges on a trial in Delaware. The first of two separate cases this year, that led to gel time. The Biden family must be frustrated that a plea deal fell apart last year when it was rejected by the Trump appointed judge in the case. Plus these particular gun charges are rarely prosecuted on their own. Perhaps evidence of the enhanced scrutiny placed on the present side. He did have a deal and because Republicans had put up such a fight, mainly Congress. Has said it's not fair. He shouldn't be able to do this. The deal fell apart and now it's being. Tri by a Trump appointed judge, which obviously, you know what side he's going to lean to. He's not going to be biased, but he is biased. So we'll see how it all turns out. But we have to understand these are two different trials. Okay. So hunter Biden's gun trial is barely different than Donald Trump's hush money trial. Even if they both come to come in an election year, Feature the public airing of a painful personal details, and essentially boiled down to allegations of lying on paperwork. Trump had to endure the detail public testimony. Stormy Daniels, the adult film actress. Who have latched an affair with Trump almost 20 years ago. Hunter Biden will have to endure a public recount of his affair with his brother. Beau's widow. There are tortured. Text messages and his drug addiction. But Trump's legal problems, all resolve around his own campaigns and actions during his presidency. Trump was found guilty of falsifying business records to hide hush money payments meant to cover up his alleged affair. From voters in 2016. He also faces federal charters of mishandling classified information in Florida and trying to overturn the 20, 20 election in Washington, DC. As well as Georgia. Hunter Biden thesis trial in Delaware starting this week for lying. On a firearm background application. He checked the box that said, no, he was not abusing or addicted. To to drugs. He also faced trial in California later this year for tax evasion. David Wise, the Trump appointed special counsel prosecuting the case has never made allegations to tie hunter Biden's tax problems to his father. Although Republicans on Capitol hill have tried unsuccessfully to connect the dots. They had a whole group and it was just finding, trying to find evidence that did not exist of trying to link. Hunter Biden and Joe Biden. You probably seen it. It was all over CNN of the whole, like they were asking different people. Did you find evidence? And the people were like, no, we didn't find the evidence. So you didn't find any evidence. And he's like, no, like there was no evidence that linked Joe Biden, the hunter Biden. About any of the business deals that he did overseas, all that other stuff, right. The department of justice ends up prosecuting similar numbers of Democrat and Republican lawmakers. In New York this week, for instance. The bribery trial of New Jersey Democrat, Senator Bob Mendez, his state corruption trial in recent years is underway. Trump may ultimately avoid federal prosecution. There is very real possibility that Trump while found guilty in New York courtroom will face neither set of the federal charges brought against him by special counsel Jack Smith. Before election day. So that's how the cases are different. Okay. So they're not the same. Republicans are alleging that there was bias in the. In the justice system altogether. But while Joe Biden's son and the senior Senator from New Jersey are both a major legal payroll. It's quickly becoming an article of faith among Republicans, that they are targeted. Species. By the justice system. It goes on to say that what people are seeing now is that they can't trust. Our justice, our judicial system, Republican national committee. Co-chair lower Trump's obviously it's tr it's. Laura Trump she's a Trump, obviously like she's going to say that goes on to say that the justice system hurts. Republicans while protecting Democrats. Tim Scott. I have a recording that I want to share with you guys at the very end of this podcast of Tim Scott. I won't get into it now. But I have some words. For that. Lint licker at the end of this. Remind me at the end. Okay. So that's what he said. Appearing on NBC's meet the press, Senator Tom cotton. Arkansas. Took the conspiracy theorize much further arguing that the department of justice is only prosecuting Mendez. And separately Republican Henry's seller of Texas, who was also charged with bribery because they have been critical of the Biden on foreign relations and immigration policy. And allegation of which there's no evidence. Cotton predicted Biden would ultimately pardon his son. The white house has said, there is, there will be no puns for hunter Biden. Even Republicans who oppose Trump during the 2024 primary season are critical of Trump's New York conviction. New Hampshire, governor Chris. SUNY new. Complained that Trump will face sentencings days before the Republican national. Invention in Milwaukee. That is a terrible idea. He said that's going to do nothing, but Raul, everybody up. It's going to look even more political than it is now, and just cast the shadow of doubt on the entire case. The irony here is that Trump's 2020. Actually did pressure the department of justice to investigate hunter Biden. It also pushed Ukraine's government to open an investigation. Hoping to tie hunter Biden's work. Or a Ukraine national gas company to his father. In 2016, Trump supporters would launch into lock her up. Channing targeted Hillary Clinton behavior. Trump encouraged at the time, even though the FBI in some form, then. James call me announced before the election. There was not strong enough. Case the prosecutor Clinton over her private email server. Trump said on Fox news over the weekend that if elected again, he might feel differently about pushing for charges against when. They all said, lock her up, but I felt I could have done it, but I thought it would have been a terrible thing. And then this happens to me. So I may feel differently about it. And then Democrats say that they're not going to try and do anything toward hunter Biden's case. Donut spec, Democrats to show the same level of support for hunter Biden. The Republicans have shown for Trump. Represent Jamie Raskin of Maryland top 10. I'm the house oversight committee promised Democrats would respect the process. As it plays out of the present sun. And our grads are not out there. The same at hunter Biden. This trial is a farce. It's a fraud. It's rigged. We're not attacking the justice system. So they're trying to play. The hero or I would say they're trying to play the card of, Hey, we're not going to do the same stuff that the Republicans are doing. Because that's what they even made the comment on. Right. They were like, well, why are you doing all this? Like, you can't sit here. I don't, I don't even know what words to even use. Like. We have a justice system, but then Republicans attack the justice system, which means that society will, or the American people. You all look at the justice system and be like, oh, maybe it is rape. Maybe it is fraud. Like. Why are they coming after him and all this other stuff? Because it doesn't work out in their favor. That's why they're attacking it. But I bet you. I bet you$5 that if they said that he was innocent, the Republicans would be like, oh my God, we love our justice system. Well, the justice system knew this was wrong. But they said he was guilty. And it was of his peers. So it's like, you can't get mad at the justice system because his peers. Right because that's what the jury did. The defense could have easily, you know, defense worked with prosecutor with the prosecutor now. To pick the juries that they want it right. And so just because it doesn't work out for you doesn't mean that the justice system is right now. I'm not saying the justice system is perfect because it's not, it's definitely. Does not play fair when it comes to the melanated community. Whether that's black, whether that's Hispanic community. You know, our population is a lot bigger in the jails and prisons. So I'm not going to say that it's completely fair because it's not. But. And you can't, you can't sit here and tell the American people it's not fair. Just because it doesn't work out in your favor. Okay. And then you have. You know, Speaker Mike Johnson. Who sat here and went to the trial. Stood outside. Like you are third in command. If anything happens to the president United States. You should not be down there at all, but you are right because all the Republicans who want to be reelected. Are playing this trump is innocent. You know, I like Trump because they want to be reelected. Go ahead. Have a Republican. Liz Cheney. When against Trump. They threw her out of Congress. Right. She's been very vocal about it that he would not be, he's not a good fit. Look at what's happening to Republicans who are like, they don't like Trump is a menace. You know, whatever other words he shouldn't be. President United States. It doesn't work out well for them. So everyone is trying to be. Captain or I wouldn't even say cat. It's more just like let's suck up the Trump. Okay. So you're saying the justice system has raped. All this other crap that they're saying. So. Just because the system doesn't work for you doesn't mean it's rig. Let me rephrase that. The justice system is not fair. Okay. It's fair. But the certain groups. Okay. To certain groups, the justice system is fair to my melanated people. It's not fair. Look it up, you see the stats, you see our prison sentences. You see that we're easily more going to get time in jail, then probation. That's that's honestly how this works out. Anyways. So our next one. As I said, I don't usually talk about. Police stories. But this one I did want to talk about because interesting enough. One of the drivers we were coming back from. We were coming back from El Paso, Texas. And I usually don't mind talking about police things or talk about. Politics. Truly don't. But she brought this story up. We'll be right back. So we can talk about this story too.
Microphone (MAONO AU-AM200) & Camo-6:A while ago. Couple of weeks ago. The news story of the. Airmen who was shot in his apartment by the Florida sheriff. They released the body cam. I'm not going to show it on here. You can look at, I think it's probably on Tik TOK. Or you can go on CNN. And look it up yourself. Cause it's something to watch. So B Florida sheriff department. Actually. Fire at deputy. And here's why. The Florida Sheriff's deputy who. Who fatally shot a black Elman in his home has been fired. The decision followed an internal investigation into the former deputy Eddie. During this is the first time during the identity. Has been publicly disclosed since the shooting earlier this month. A separate criminal investigation. So the deputy's action is ongoing with the Florida department of law enforcement. FDL. The administrative investigation determine the deputy's use of deadly force was not objectively reasonable and therefore violated agency's policy. That's what. The county sheriff office stated. The deputy responded on May 3rd to an apartment after receiving a call for a disturbance in progress. Sheriff Eric Anand said in a previous statement, according to the internal investigation. A woman at the complex, told the deputy about a disturbance at par at apartment 1401. She said was getting out of hand. Body cam for the show shortly after Rogers. Opened the door. Of the apartment that deputy and the video says, step back before filing his weapon. Roger was standing in the doorway of his, with his hands down and a firearm in his right hand. Five shots can be heard on the footage. Roger was pronounced dead at the hospital. And an interview with investigators during the deputy. Claim. Roger's arm was slightly canted, meaning not straight down. He described it as being in a manner so that his arm is not, it was. It's slightly up. But. The investigation deemed otherwise, according to the statement released by the internal affairs investigation, the firearm was pointed at the ground sniffing pulley. Significantly enough for the former deputy to clearly see the rear face of the rear sight of. Of the gun. The investigation concluded that Mr. Roger did not point the gun at the farm or deputies direction. They go on to say this tragic incident should have never occurred. Aiden said on a Friday release the objective fat. Do not support the use of deadly force as an appropriate response to Mr. Rogers actions. Mr. Roger did not commit a crime by all accounts. He was exceptional airmen and an individual. The attorney for Roger's family. Said they were pleased with the firing of the deputy. They were calling for more to be done and a statement of CNN on Friday, attorney Ben Crump said the actions of this deputy were not just negligence. They were criminal. While the criminal investigation is still ongoing. We fully anticipate the charges to be filed against the officer. The video footage provides damning proof. This was a brutal and senseless killing of a young man who was simply enjoying the time alone with his dog, while video chatting with his girlfriend. Crump and Roger's family believed that law enforcement responded to the wrong apartment. Aaron was on the phone with his girlfriend leading up to the shooting and was alone. There was no physical altercation happening within his apartment. Internal investigations appeared to show during the day the sheriff, the deputy. Was told to go to. Roger's apartment by someone from the apartment complex.
Microphone (Realtek(R) Audio):Aye. Watch the video. And. It's like a scary movie for me at this point. I think. All body cam videos are like. A scary movie, cause you never know what's truly going to happen. In a sense of. Uncertainty. One thing that I do want to say upfront is that. Law enforcement. Is a very. Hard. An unknowing career. If I can put it lightly because I don't want to scare anyone away from joining it. But I also want to be a realist with you and let you know that, you know, you're putting your life on the line for complete strangers every day. You know, One thing when I was in the motto was. Walk out of the door, walked back in the seat. When you leave home. With that being said, This situation could have gone. Many different ways. And. Most agencies and most academies would probably look at this video. And they will Monday quarterback it, which means they will look at this video. And find out what went right. What went wrong? What can be changed? And that's what we're hoping as a community. We're hoping that every time that we have one of these. Godly. Fatal shootings. We learn from them. But no matter. How much. Training. You may think. You need their situations. Where that training will literally go out of the window and it's going to be. Fight or flight. At that moment. For this situation. Airman Rogers lost his life. And he shouldn't have lost his life. And it's tragic. And my deepest condolences for his family. And I hope they. Get the justice that they deserve. And I hope that. As a community, we heal. And we. And we move on. I also want to thank the sheriffs. Office. For being very transparent and releasing the body cam, I think after George Floyd's death. And other black lives being taken. Releasing that body cam. So then we're all on the same page, even though we all have questions. Releasing that body cam means that we're all on the same page this is where we're all starting at. And then the investigation starts. I think that's just something that. We're going to have to keep doing. To make sure that the community understands, Hey, we're. We're wondering what happened as well.
Microphone Array (Intelr Smart Sound Technology for Digital Microphones):I will say this one, last thing. And that is. For the deputy. No matter. If he gets charged criminally. Or if he gets sued civilly. He will never. Forget that he took someone's life. And it wasn't justified. He can forget about the court cases being sued. But that's something he's going to have to live with. For the rest of his life. Man. I hate. Ending on such a. Sad slash salad. So we're not. Northwest performed at the 30th. Anniversary of the wine key and the Hollywood. And it was terrible. Yeah, it's still funny.
Microphone (MAONO AU-AM200) & Camo-7:welcome back. If you hadn't heard. Which I don't know how you can not have heard. If you haven't heard. Northwest. Performance at the. Hollywood ball 30th anniversary for the lion king. The celebrate the line. All right. If you haven't heard it, I want you to just listen. And then we will talk about it, but just, just listen. That's it. I'm not playing anymore of it. People have been. Ooh. I mean, Talk about. Ripping someone, a new one. I've watched that video. I've watched. One of the directors or casting people, he did a video on Tik TOK that talked about how she was picked or whatever people are calling her nipple, baby. So here's my thought. I thought her part was terrible. Okay. I feel as though. Someone else could have did it. Now I have seen a lion king on Broadway. 1 2, 3, 5 times. Okay. The last time I seen it. Was on Broadway. So I went to New York for work and I seen the lion king on Broadway. There are so many other children who could have played Simba. And could have some better. I'm not blaming Northwest. I am blaming her parents. That shows that money buys. Stuff. There is no way that she should have been on that stage. Now, if she was performing for like middle school or in like a kids play. Do it, this is the 30th anniversary of lion king. They brought. The original voices of lion king to this event, people pay. Thousand. Depending on your seat. Of dollars. Why would you put this child in that type of. Predicament. As I said, I think she did a phenomenal job in her own mind. But to the public. Got like you could have taken one of the kids off Broadway and put them in, but. The real conversation is that her parents did this. Her parents was like, oh, well we want our child to do that. Maybe they paid a certain amount of money. I heard it was her. Agent who was like very insistent on saying. You know, This is what it is. Let me show you what this girl wore. Which also kind of pissed me off too, because I was like, what the likely. So, this is what she wore. I don't know if you can see that. She looked like. Big bird had. Chick. And that's what it was. I was like, she doesn't even resemble Simba. But then like the zebra next door, it looks like a zebra. They could have painted her up to make it look like she was on light Broadway. I didn't like it. I would have probably asked for like a partial refund, to be honest with you. I, and I was talking and it's so ironic. I even talk about this. Cause I was talking about it with one of my Lyft writers and she was like, oh, well, what do you think? I was like, I think it was a terrible thing. Like. I think that her parents just had money. And put her on this and they're over. You can see them in the background, light, shearing and whatnot, like. What the hell like everybody else's. You know, I kind of would've felt like disappointed. Like if I was on that stage doing performance, I would have been like, I worked my ass off to get here and this little child just has rich high profile parents. And that's how she got the part. Like, you can watch the entire video she's over here saying everybody looked left. She's still looking in the middle. Everybody look right. She's still looking at another. What, what is this? Did, did we not practice? Did we not do our Hersel? What was it? It was absolutely terrible. I would have definitely asked for a partial refund light that would have been a waste of my time. I think during her performance, I would have probably went to the bathroom. That's just how I felt personally. And I love lion king. I grew up online Katelyn. I can quote the entire movie one, two, and one and a half. I can. I know every single one of the songs from one, two and one and a half. So I would have been greatly disappointed. As a lion king fanatic. To see that type of performance. Because it was just. Terrible. Terrible. Anyways. Let's move on to one of our other girls spill the tea. And you guys know I'm not a huge fan of Senator Tim Scott. I think he is. He's one of those, like, Black people who want to be white, essentially. Right. And he was on the news. And. Just, just listen to it. I can't bring myself to try and explain. How you would think someone who is intelligent, you know, One to be present United States. Can't simply. Say one thing, take lessons. I'm not going to make it an issue. Will you commit to accepting the election results of 2024 bottom line. At the end of the day. The 47th president United States. President Donald Trump. I'm excited to get back to low inflation, low unemployment. Wait, wait, Senator yes or no. Yes or no. Will you accept the election results of 20, 24? No matter who wins? That is my statement. But, but is it just yes or no? Will you accept the election results of 2024? I look forward to president Trump being the 47th president. Interested. And you could ask him multiple times. Just a yes or no answer. So the American people. The American people will make the decision, but I don't hear you committing. President Trump. That's that clear? I don't hear you. The election result. Will you commit to accept? So many. This is why so many Americans believe that NBC is an extension of the Democrat party at the end of the day. I've said what I've said, and I know that the American people, their voices will be heard. And I believe that president Trump will be our next president. It's that simple. But senators, you know, the hallmark of our democracy is that both candidates agree to a peaceful transfer of power. So I'm asking you as a potential VP nominee, will you accept to commit to the election results in this election cycle? No matter who wins? Just simply yes or no. I spoke for them. I expect president Trump to win the next election. I'm not going to ask you to answer your hypothetical question. When in fact, I believe the American people are speaking today on the results of the election and the continued. If it continues for the next six months, we find ourselves in a great position where we get back to another century of American prosperity. Yeah. I'm looking forward to that. All right. So that was. Lit liquor. That's his new name now on this podcast. The lint licker. Tim Scott. Six times. That's why I was holding up all my fingers. On one hand, six times. You heard it yourself, but. He wasn't going to accept the election results. He was like, well, I look forward to Trump. Been president. That's not the fucking question. The question is if he doesn't win, will you accept the result? Well, I don't, I don't really know about that. I mean, you know, I, I will see you that Trump will be. Person again. But Senator. When it happens and he loses, are you going to kick. all the American people. They they have already decided we, we are seeing the results. So we will be seeing Trump as present. Listen to here. You linked liquor. Ass kicker, orange sniffer. Senator. What is wrong with you? Like. I don't understand why you couldn't say yes, I will accept. The election results. But now. Lint licker wants to kiss as much Trump as, as possible because Trump is considering him. As AVP nominee. And I'm just like, I don't understand. Like I had little respect for him. But now I just don't like, I don't have any respect for them. Like. That lint licker. It's just, I, I just don't understand, like, as simple as yes. And now he's still like, whoa. He, you know, he will be our, our next person. I look forward to it. You lent liquor. Like. Anyways. Also before we wrap this section up and we move on to our last section, cause we're running out of time desperately. Nikki Haley said that she will vote for Trump. Yeah. Let that sink in after all the shit that she was talking about saying that he's this he's that and NA. Ah, she came out a couple of weeks ago and said that she will be voting for Trump. I don't know if her supporters are going to light that decision. I mean, may, probably wouldn't have liked if she said she was voting for Joe Biden. I have her. So I guess that everybody in the Republican party wants to be asked kisser best friends with Trump because they know. If they don't say his name and say he, they support him, whatever election cycle that they're running for. They're probably not going to win. It's ironic that I say that because as I was driving my bus through one of the towns here, our elections here in Arizona are starting to kick off. And one of the billboards said, Trump endorsed not as lay out. Well, there goes another ass kicker. Anyways, we'll be right back with, am I an asshole? Our last section of podcast.
Microphone (MAONO AU-AM200) & Camo-8:Alright. So we are back with our very last. Segments. Called am I the asshole? And. Because this is pride month. Happy prior to all my queer people. You're always accepted right here on my podcast. In this am I asshole? This lady we're going to call her. Juliet. Okay. So that's the name that we're going to make up for? So here's what Juliet said two days ago. Juliet says my husband came out as bisexual. I am a 36 year old female. I've been married to my husband 37 for over 15 years. He recently came out as bisexual to me. And I feel like my world is crumbling. We've had our ups and downs over the years with many things, but the truth that have. Come out. With this have devastated me. He's had sexual relations with men behind my back. He wants to stay together, but to be allowed to see men on the side or me be involved too. Am I crazy to say absolutely not. He's blamed past issues on his behavior now and tries to justify what he's done. He said he's been this way since his late teens. And we've been dating back then. I had no idea. I feel like our whole life was alive. We have children together and I can't imagine a life in which I'm happy in this situation, but I also don't want to tear apart our home. I feel so incredibly stuck. Please. Help. Damn your husband wants his cake. And he wants to eat it too. Okay. Like, aye. Let's go to some of the comments and then we'll wrap this up. So one comment said that he's the asshole and you leave immediately. It's completely okay for him to be bisexual, but he cheated on you period. Point blank, regardless of gender. He put your health at risk by having multiple undisclosed partners while sleeping with you. And it sounds like it could be during your pregnancy. If he started as a team, I'm sorry, you're dealing with this, but you deserve better. What do you guys think if. When I post this on Instagram or wherever the hell I posted, what, what do you think that she should do? Here's my advice to you, Juliet. Right. Now, and I, I mean that in the most sincere way, like I don't, unless you truly want to try and work it out, but as one of the first comments that we ride, like, if you're in a relationship. And you're having sex with other people. The main thing that comes to my head is health. Right. You don't know what all these other people have. And then you are essentially bringing that back to your partner at home. That's the issue with cheating? Obviously the trust, the line. All that. And then when you add in a family, so if you have children, if you have a house together, your bank accounts, all this other stuff comes up and now you're thinking, what the hell do I do? And some people do stay because there's just too much in tangled. To try and just rip it off and start over. Right. But as I say, you always have to look out for yourself. maKe sure that you are happy, even if you don't want to get divorced. Right. If you want to be separated. And in that time of you being separated, you're talking. But. Divorce is also good, but like I said, it depends on how much he got tangled up. And then you've been with the persons for 15 years, which obviously means if you've been like this, since you were a teen, you probably should have. Thought about that decision before, right? So anyways. That is, am I an asshole and Juliet? You are non Masshole. I think he's the asshole. You're not the asshole. When we come back, we're going to finish up with finishing thoughts. And we're gonna wrap this podcast. We'll be right back.
Microphone (MAONO AU-AM200) & Camo-9:All right. So we are finishing up this podcast with final thoughts. I'm actually just going to like sit back. cause I'm like, I'm tired. Anyway, so first off, I want to think every one for listening to the podcast, I love it. Second thing is, I'm sorry if I go ghost. Every now and again, but honestly I work like I have to work. Because if I don't, I will be homeless. All right. So I work. And I try and get these episodes out as fast as quick as I can, but when you're tired, you're just, you're not doing anything. All right. But one thing I do want to comment on is that. I looked at our numbers. I'm seeing that a lot of you don't either listen through apple or Spotify. So those are probably the two only platforms that you can like. Show your love and appreciate, right? Buzzsprout just they just implemented. Fan mail. So at the top of all of our episodes, when you go into the description, it's going to say, text me. Or it might say like, Send me a review or rate or talk to me. If you click that link and you fill out the little form with your phone number, you can actually send in fan mail. I encourage you. Whether you like the show, whether you dislike the show, whether you like a segment or you didn't like a segment, or you may be like, Hey, you should add another segment. I want you to click on that. And send the text. Okay. It's free to do. It sends a text directly. It sends a text email to me. Because I want to hear from you. Like I've, that's been my biggest goal of doing this podcast and I think that's something in like the podcast community. We have a lot of issues with is trying to hear back from you. I want to hear from you, you listen to the show. I want to drop more. More people into the show, which is why we did the new segments. The. You know, it's homework time girl spill that T and M I have a asshole. Those are three new sections. And we're just trying them out. We can always try things. Publish it let it flow. See if people like it. All right. Besides that. I love you all. Happy pride. we'll be doing some pride stories. Hopefully. This month as well. And just be kind, be different. Be smart. You know, treat everyone that you want to be treated because. This world will honestly not treat you the way that you want. So I want you to remember that. I also want you to remember that love is love. As I said before, we're in 2024. Who gives a flying F. What we do, as long as you're out there being safe and healthy. Who cares? It's pride month. Let's celebrate. Go to a drag show, go to a gay bar. It doesn't matter where your shirts. You know where your pins. Do you booboo? Anyways, I'll see you guys are next week. Peace out.
